Victoria Walker

Victoria Walker comes from a family of successful businessmen and financial experts, working with the true values of honesty, reliability and good faith.  From the advice of her parents, at a very young age, Victoria learned the life long lesson that hard work, sincerity and trustworthiness are the keys to success and happiness. 

 

Victoria's mother, Gloria, a Financial Expert and Author, (Stop and Go Safety) worked for many years in the banking industry and her father, Gary, a brilliant licensed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer worked in Engineering/Construction.

 

In 1980, Victoria's parents opened the now +45 year respected and successful business,     (Gary Walker and Associates)   From day 1, Victoria observed the development of business interactions, communications with clients, customers and vendors, marketing for business expansion and assisted with financial operations.  As time went by, Victoria managed the bi-weekly payroll, income tax payments and the accounting processes.

 

Developing a love of Math and Finance, Victoria earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics, with the distinguished California Lutheran University, located in Thousand Oaks, CA in 1999.  Victoria graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Honors and a GPA of 3.88. 

 

During her tenure at CLU, she was elected the Mathematics Departmental Assistant and was the chosen student to be honored with Departmental Honors.  She gained 4 years experience working in the Mathematics Department Lab, volunteering to provide fellow students with mathematics tutoring and assistant. 

 

Upon her graduation, Victoria began a more than 25 year successful career, still in progress, working in Finance, Accounting and Business, establishing and creating Accounting and Finance Departments from scratch, implementing policies and procedures to early departments for expansion and sustainability, creating strategic and accurate budgeting and forecasting.  Victoria has a long history of Mergers and Acquisitions and the finance/accounting forensics involved in providing financial data validation.  Victoria has an inclusive knowledge of GAAP Accounting and has worked with both Cash and Accrual Accounting, along with the conversion from one to another.

Victoria's history with Cash Management, Treasury, Finance and Accounting began back in the day, prior to Accounting systems and has evolved to include the entire history of technological Accounting, including pen and paper accounting, early DOS AS400, NAV, Southware, Macola, Microsoft Quickbooks (Desktop/Online), Great Plains, Hyperion, Crystal Reporting, Maple, all the way to the extensive ERP/SAP Accounting Systems including WorkDay, NetSuite, SalesForce, FishBowl (WWS) and Accounting Seed.  Victoria also has a long history with payroll and taxes and has used the systems Gusto, ADP,   Victoria has an elevated and extensive knowledge of Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel (Master Level including VBA coding), which she has utilized in incredible analytics, statements and reporting and Microsoft Access as well.   Expanding the live view analytics and communications, Victoria has an extensive experience with SharePoint, Prophix, Tableau, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Zoom, Slack, Teams, Trello.  Victoria's experience with Accounts Payable systems include Melio, Stripe, Beyond, WooCommerce, Shopify.

Victoria has worked in a variety of Business Segments and has experience with Business Segment specific programs, including Engineering/Construction/Architecture and Default Construction (AutoCAD), the Mortgage Industry (Outlook, Networking), Self Storage Industry (Yardi), Retail/Manufacturing (SPINS, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central), and HealthCare (QuickCap and QNXT),

As a savings alternative to owning a Finance and Accounting Department internally, Victoria has provided valuable Finance and Accounting services to many successful Corporations, eliminating necessary Employment Insurance, income taxes, full time costly employee benefits and a need for supervision and management.  Victoria has also provided Financial Advice to businesses on a contract basis and to family and friends as well.  Victoria is known as the "Financial Go To".

Personally, Victoria volunteers with the LewyBody Dementia Association (LBDA) as a Lewy Buddy, providing support to families experiencing the difficulties of a loved one with LewyBody Dementia.

​

In addition to the LBDA, Victoria supports The Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals),

Victoria is an avid reader, piano player and absolutely adores animals and her dogs.
